This entry is part 68 of 79 in the series Rival's Duel

erdnHello and welcome to another episode of Rival’s Duel. This week, Eric and Nole are playing doctor and looking at a fan’s decklist. This decklist tickles both of them in all the right places, as it’s somewhat unexpected, a control deck (Nole’s favorite flavor), and Eric’s 5 favorite colors (Red, Red, Red, Red, and Red).  Mono Red Control was the first deck Nole ever built and it’s still something that he jams on occasion, and Eric’s love of fire is well know by all (including the Ottowa fire department, we told you that that was a bad idea Eric!). Do you agree with the Rivals’ suggestions? Give us a listen and let us know in the comments below. As always, full shownotes after the break.

Opening: News, life and other such nonsens.-

There is not a lot of news this week. The french banlist was updated (who cares?), and the San Diego Comic-Con planswalker set is now out (and looks sweet, goodbye to the ugly black-on-black walkers and hello zombified Gatewatch).

Main topic: Playing Doctor with someone else’s deck.-

Our friend Wayne sent in his decklist, knowing it would tickle us in all the right places. Well, tickle us it did. He also asked us for feedback and tips. Well, we are nothing if not helpful to our fans, so we took a crack at tuning up his deck. His list is posted below. We hope this helps Wayne!
