Commandercast S9E12 – Time Spiral Review

Time Spiral Review. GO!
I’m joined by Brionne, Calvin, and Sean as the finale launches itself into a three hour marathon of card discussion. This is a REALLLY long review, so thanks to you guys for waiting it out while this episode not only comes out a week later than originally planned, but for sticking with me for a whole season.
We’ll be taking our three week following today, but everyone will be back with more articles and videos around May 13’th…except for the podcast. I’ll be moving around that time, so I’m putting off the show’s return by a week or so, but I should have everything taken care of by then.
I’ll be spending most of my time trying to catch up with my personal life as well as trying to get the website updated and fixed. The archives look horrible, staff isn’t current, and I really need some sort of website admin to help out. If you want to volunteer to help and know a little something about WordPress, send me an email! I could also REALLY use an editor or two to help everyone with their articles. Our current system doesn’t work as well as I’d like it to.
Now, without, further ado, shownotes, links, and download link are below.
PS: I’ll email the winners of the Season 9 contest privately since there was only one entry.
Commandercast S9E11 – This Podcast is Totally Legit
April 8, 2013
Forgive the title, but this podcast totally is. After what’s been a wild month for me, I was finally able to settle down and have a nice, normal session with the man they call the FNM Hero, Jonathon Medina. Since’s it’s the first time the show’s having him on, it’ll naturally be Medina-centric as he explains how his story gets their shipping paid and gives us some tips on the trade edict.

Commandercast S9E9 – They Said I Could Be Whatever I Wanted
March 25, 2013
…I did it. I FINALLY DID IT!!! I finally managed to record a show with an international guest! Woo hoo!
Today, from across the pond, I’m bringing you some radio time with the cosplay wonder that is Aranel. She’s a wonderful fan of both Magic and Commander, so having her own was an absolute no brainer. Yes, it was difficult working around extreme time zones, but that’s okay! We’ll spend some time just chatting and doing some PR work for her stuff.
Captain Redzone joins us for the second week in a row. Why? Because I can and he’s that awesome, that’s why.
We also finish up some Gatecrash parallels with our retro cycle review on Gatecrash guilds with their old legends!

Commandercast S9E8 – Captain of Combatitive Communication
March 18, 2013
This week was quite tiring. Between tuning up my decks for GP Pittsburgh, learning rules for my new judge-trainingness, and editing the show, AND trying to get a special guest on for an episode down the line, I’ve been pretty dog gone tired. But everything’s okay!
Even if we spontaneously lose an arm, we’ll still working hard to bring you your weekly community, strategy, and technology!
This week sees the return of Calvin aka Captain Redzone, whom I love very much (no homo). We also get to hear from Robert, Elder Mastery writer, and fellow Power Rangers fan (I always approve of fellow ranger fans).

Commandercast S9E7 – Going Digital
March 11, 2013

Cyber Space…the final frontier. These are the voyages of the U.S.S. Commandercast. They’re ongoing mission: to seek out new games and to boldly go where no scrub has gone before!
Starring: William as Capt. Jean Sparrow Ahab, Christian as Counselor Troi, and special guest star: Tom of MTGradio!
This week, we’re exploring the wide frontier of Magic The Gathering: Online! Yes, I know there are lots of people upset that Cockatrice is down (unless you know where their back-up servers are), but that doesn’t mean that Wizards is a horrible company out to crush all of the so-called “competition”.
…..or, at least everyone outside of Hasbro’s legal department.
