Hey everyone, Rhyno here charging at you with the latest installment of “One-Two Punch”, a 10-part series where I show you 3 powerful card pairs, one 2-color guild at a time.

These are NOT combos in the traditional sense that they instantly K.O. (cuz that’s below the belt). Instead, they’re the jab and the uppercut you need to get back in the fight when your opponents have you cornered.

Blue-green is Simic…Let’s go!

Move 1: Perilous Forays + Roil Elemental

This is one of the more powerful one-two punches we’ve explored in this series. Got this combination out and a land in hand? Then you’ve successfully assembled a 1-mana creature-kill machine gun! And when your clip is empty, and you’ve ramped into oblivion, you get to put the meatiest monster on the board to work for you.

Move 2: Progenitor Mimic + Frost Titan

With this duo, you get to have your cake and eat it too. As if duplicating a giant defensive fatty wasn’t enough, you get to lay on the frosting every turn, locking your opponents’ scariest permanents down for the foreseeable future.

Move 3: Vedalken Heretic + Horizon Chimera

While this duo’s not going to top any charts, some steady life gain and card draw can make all the difference in a long, drawn-out game of Commander. And, if you can figure out a way to slip your Vedalken Rougue past pesky blockers by granting it unblockability, you’ll be set up for a steady stream of cards and life.

So there you have it! Three one-two punches you can try pulling on your friends in your blue-green deck.

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?

  4. That is some great material. I had to spend quite some time to seek out this website nonetheless it was worthy of time. I noticed this page was buried in bing rather than the number one spot. This site has a lot of first-rate material plus it doesnt should be burried in the search engines prefer that. By the way Planning to save this web publication to my directory of favorites.

  5. It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d without a doubt donate to this outstanding blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will share this website with my Facebook group. Talk soon!

  6. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  7. I like the valuable info you supply for your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and take a look at once more here frequently. I’m slightly certain I will learn many new stuff proper here! Good luck for the next!

  8. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Internet explorer. Excellent Blog!

  9. What’s up, for all time i used to check webpage posts here early in the daylight, because i enjoy to find out more and more.
