CommanderCast 2018 Precon Special, part 1 – Adaptive Enchantment
September 17, 2018
Hello everyone and welcome to the CommanderCast 2018 Precon Special, Part 1! For those of you who don’t know, every year we here at Commandercast.com do a review for that years Commander product released by WoTC. We then divide the decks up among or staff and send them out to playtest the deck and bring back their finding. This week, Adam was tasked with the Adaptive Enchantment deck, a Bant (Green, White, and Blue) deck based around enchantments. Him and Mark kick things off by going over the ins and outs of the deck. Is it any good or listen in and find out!
So pull up your rocking chairs and click the IB!!!

The Deck: Adaptive Enchantment – Adam
General Thoughts (Ha! Puns!):
Strategy – How does the deck play?:
- Tuvasa and Kestia make for enchantress voltron shells
- Card draw is very strong
- The ramp game is either really good or really bad
- Very vulnerable to removal
- Can kill players out of seemingly nowhere
- Does not bounce back against control
- Surprising amount of board wipes
- Best precon out of box
