November 26, 2018
Hello everyone and welcome to CommanderCast Episode 338! This week, Adam is away which means Mark has Mike on once again to go over the topics for the episode today. Today’s topic is based on the idea of playing similar decks and trying to figure out how to separate them. Say you have two decks that’s based on tokens… how do you keep them fun without feeling like you’re playing the same deck again and again?
Well click the IB and find out!!!

From Travis’ comment on ep 336:
- Owning decks with very similar lines of play.
- What are good parameters for keeping a deck collection smaller?
- Cockatrice
- What to do with all of your spare junk?
- Variation inspiration:
- TappedOut.net
- Scarizard gameplay videos
Strategy
Maybe how to take two similar lists and make them more distinct?
Differentiate by:
- Budget (2dh)
- Card choice overlap (Other 99/remove staples)
- Styles of play, ie. Stax, Mill, Aggro….
- Colors
Or consolidate both decks into one.
Or try out an “experiment” deck with one of the commanders.
Technology
Set review of the split cards from Invasion block
Assault // Battery
Fire // Ice
Illusion // Reality
Life // Death
Night // Day
Order // Chaos
Pain// Suffering
Spite // Malice
Stand // Deliver
Wax // Wane
