This entry is part 516 of 539 in the series CommanderCast

Hello everyone and welcome to CommanderCast Episode 474! This week Mark and Adam ask the question, what happened to Theme Decks? There was once a time where WotC would release two decks to play against each other and the deck would have some kind of theme to them. There would be Elves vs Goblins, Nature vs Inventions, or Fire vs Ice. You might even see two Planeswalkers going at it. Sure WotC still releases premade decks with the Commander, Challenger, and Pioneer decks… but what happened to the Theme Decks? Today we first look at Theme Decks and try to figure out why they disappeared from the yearly rotation. We then take a quick look at the new Reconfigure mechanic from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. Is there enough juice in these cards to quench our thirst or are they dryer than a raisin? We wrap things up with a quick look at another tribe that might be of interest, Fox tribal!

All that, plus our usual interstitial fodder, and all you have to do is Click the IB!!!
