CommanderCast Episode 258

Posted: August 22nd, 2016

GUEST: Billy

It’s official: the Minotaur Horde really does suck.

Lay out the basic rules for Horde.

House Rules!

  • Tokens continue to exist in the graveyard (makes Zombie effects lots o’ fun).
  • Each survivor after the first only adds 10 (instead of 20) to the Survivor’s life total.
  • Try to avoid including cards with activated or targeted abilities in your Horde.

Ways to use Horde to bring people together, either at your local shop, or around the kitchen table. Eventually everyone gets tired of beating each other up, this is a “No Tears” solution to keep playing.

How to build around themes and synergies.

Finding a place for pet cards in your Horde. Ignition Team IN GOBLINS! Things that are too expensive or cumbersome for Real Decks

Calvin: Kragma Warcaller, Destructive Force, Cleaver Riot

Mark: Evil Eye of Urborg & Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore, Vengeful Pharaoh, Krosan Beast
