Community: How do we start this off?
Is edh the right format to try and start someone into magic? Is it too complicated? How can someone be a bad teacher or a good teacher?
Strategy: How should we build loaner decks?
The best thing to do is have a loaner deck on hand. We’ll talk about the things we’d like to see in decks that you give out to people.
Technology: Three Cards Deep
If GDC is on, then we have to do this! We’re each going to talk about three cards that are good, bad, and sad for teaching newer players about magic, cards we normally don’t think about or just accept.
William (who apparently doesn’t quite understand each category well enough) – The control set: Good – Angelic Arbiter Bad – Sire of Insanity Sad – Prophet of Kruphix
Calvin – Card effects – Good: Vigilance, Bad: Protection, Sad: Shroud
Cassidy – Plays well with others – Good – Teferi’s Puzzle Box Bad – Stranglehold Sad – Thieves’ Auction / Scrambleverse
